NIGHTTIME SCREAMS ~N~ BAD DREAMS HAUNTED HOUSE

October 9–11, 2026 | Big Pine Key, Florida

Get ready for a fright-filled weekend in the Lower Keys as the Lower Keys Rotary presents its annual community Haunted House, “Nighttime Screams ~N~ Bad Dreams,” October 9–11, 2026, at Big Pine Community Park.

For three nights, the community park transforms into a Halloween experience filled with spooky scenes, unexpected scares, creative decorations, and plenty of things waiting in the dark. Local participants and community supporters come together to create themed rooms designed to entertain—and frighten—visitors as they make their way through the haunted house.

A Halloween Tradition in the Lower Keys

There is something especially fun about Halloween in the Florida Keys, where community spirit and island creativity put their own twist on the spooky season.

The Lower Keys Rotary Haunted House brings that spirit to Big Pine Key, creating a local Halloween attraction for residents, families, and visitors looking for something a little scarier than the usual fall festivities.

This year’s “Nighttime Screams ~N~ Bad Dreams” theme promises a world where nightmares come to life. Expect dark rooms, eerie surprises, imaginative displays, and plenty of opportunities to scream as you make your way through the attraction.

The haunted house is also a wonderful example of the Lower Keys community coming together. Volunteers, organizations, and local sponsors help transform the space in the days leading up to opening night, creating the elaborate experience visitors see when the doors finally open.

Whether you love haunted houses, Halloween traditions, or simply want to support a local community event, gather your bravest friends and see if you can make it through without screaming.
